We go through a diverse hiring process that filters the good from the bad almost immediately. The people we hire are considered the best in their field to handle nearly any type of CAD production we can throw at them. Everyone is hard working, morally upright, reliable & honest in their work.
The CADwerks hiring process is quite intense. We do not hire a technician based only on our likeness of a person or their ability to produce completed projects. In actuality, this is a very small part of the process. For starters, all techs are required to fill out a total of 6 pages of an application. These pages allow us to sort their proficiencies within our database and get the needed information about them on file for verification. Then they go thru an interviewing process that involves six steps. (Review, Interview, Verify, Qualify, Re-Interview & Approve) We check and verify any and all references given on their applications. We require samples of their best work to be viewed by many professional members of our firm for critiquing and question their steps through completion of a project. This lengthy process shows their ability to handle stress within the firm and their dedication to their careers.
Though knowing the inside and out of producing plan sets are a must, they are also a very small part of working within CADwerks. We have seen the best results with people that truly love what they are doing! The projects they complete are done with a passion for being the best, above all else! Not for the money, but because they truly love what the creative process and the finished product brings in the end. However, that does not mean that we take advantage of their love for CAD and pay them a minimal salary. Actually, quite the opposite! A majority of all profits go to the technicians to show their worth. Our process instills management skills, trust, speedy completion and a love for the business that can be found nowhere else!
